New leash on life

We are a non-profit organization and rely heavily on donations and volunteer time to accomplish all that we do. Without it, we would not be able to help dogs that are in need of rescue!
Here is a list of things you can do to make a difference:

Rescue dogs make the very best companions. Help them find their fur-ever home by inviting one to become a member of your family. Start by filling out an adoption application, then look at our adoptable dogs.

All you need is a loving home and a warm heart. All expenses associated with your foster dog will be covered by NMLB. All current dogs in the house should be up to date with vaccines.

Can't adopt or foster a dog at this time? You can still be a temporary dog parent through our new Sponsorship Program. Make a difference in a rescue dog's life. Email us for more information.

The list is long and the need is great. Any gift helps out tremendously, we receive it with great appreciation! Our wishlist includes towels, blankets, dog beds, collars, leashes, bowls, crates, unopened dog food. Please email us to set up a time for donation drop offs.

It helps us out enormously when you support our events. Visit our Events page to see our current get togethers. We rely on you to help get the word out and keep the attendance level at these events strong, so please don't forget to invite your friends, family and neighbors! Also, please share our event announcements on any social media sites you may subscribe to. It really is a big help to us. 

We currently have very active Facebook and Instagram pages. Please add our pages, share our posts, and like our statuses. It helps us get the word out!! 

The workload is great and we are working with limited people and resources. Please be patient when requesting information or personal service from us. With limited time, the dogs are our main priority. Interaction with them comes first, with people second. I promise, we haven't forgotten about you. We just haven't had an extra minute to get to that return email, phone call, or application. We are as eager as you to make that special adoption happen, accept your volunteer request, or accept your donation of pet supplies. we just need to tend to the requirements of the rescue dogs first. We appreciate your patience! We couldn't do this without you.
